***UPDATE***
Just sharing progress on Project Volunteer, Writing is done threw page 30. Artists have been started threw page 30 as well. Things are moving along pretty quick.

I almost hate to do this but I am offically closing for volunteers. We have way more than I thought we would to be honest, this is quite exciting. I hope all the volunteers will be patent as the scripts work there way around. Thank you to everyone who volunteered, and sorry to every one who missed out. I'll keep everyone updated on progress.

Project Volunteer

I had an idea and I think it could be a great one, so here I am asking who wants to be apart of Project Volunteer.

The Idea: One massive graphic novel, written and drawn by volunteers. I'll start the book with 5 pages, from there I'll pass it to the first volunteer and they add the next 5 moving forward the story however they see fit. The result (hopefully) will be a unique one of a kind graphic novel.

The details: The finished product (if all goes well) will be released by Torn Comics. This will be done on a strict Volunteer basis, no one will be paid for there work including me or anyone else at Torn Comics. If the book becomes profitable, all proceeds will be put into the Torn Printing account that way we can keep doing projects like this one with all of you. Everyone who participated and keeps to the rules of the game will be credited in the finished product. It's a great chance to get your name in a published book. Please understand that this is not some money making scheme, if anything it's more like a science project. The book will be called Project Volunteer, but don't let that sway you on what the story will be (unless you want it to). I'm saying this because I have to, all work associated with Project Volunteer becomes property of Torn Comics. Just avoiding the legal trouble.

Rules of the game:

1.) What you add must make sense to what was written before. New characters can be introduced but no established-copyrighted characters.

2.) Please do not use your own creator owned characters, everything needs to be original.

3.) Nothing of an adult or pornographic nature, let's keep the book clean so more can enjoy it.

4.) You, as a volunteer will be responsible for writing the next 5 pages of the script and sending them back to me so I can send then to the next volunteer.

5.) The goal is to make this book as long as possible as long as the story remains interesting. Once I feel the story is winding down, I'll let the next volunteer know to start winding the story down.

6.) Once the script is completed, I'll be beck asking for art volunteers which will be based on the same 5 page rules and guidelines.

7.) You must be 18 years of age or older to participate. It's a legal thing, we want this to be as painless as possible.
